Journeys Through Consciousness

The collection “Journeys Through Consciousness”  is a new series by Greek-Australian artist Leni Kae. The series explores the journey of conscious awakening through the stories of the artist’s Greek Ancestors. In some artworks, the Greek goddess Aphrodite may be seen within different landscape scenes, forming a representation of the inner landscape in the journey of awakening the heart (and spiritual awakening as a whole).  Spiritual symbolism is incorporated within the composition applied and within the scenery. The journey explored is one which leads to spiritual growth – an expansion in connection with the inner landscape, connection with nature, and essentially coming home to ‘Self’.
