Aware Series

In her Aware series, Greek-Australian artist Leni Kae reimagines the ancient emblem, sigil, and sign of the Owl of Athena—the timeless symbol of wisdom, truth, and consciousness—as a portal to higher seeing. Through delicate layers of watercolour, ink, and acrylic, she transforms this sacred motif into an eye of awakened truth, reflecting the soul’s journey from shadow into light.

Drawing from a Greek heritage and deep spiritual practice, Kae explores the eye as both symbol and mirror: an expression of divine awareness and the meeting place of intuition and clarity. Each piece becomes an invocation to see through the soul—to perceive not only with the eyes, but with the inner light of consciousness itself.

Her Aware series invites viewers to awaken to the presence of truth, to recognise that awareness is an act of reverence, and that all wisdom already lives quietly within.
